Door hardware is available in a range of functions depending on use. Passage is typically used for hallways and closets, privacy for bedrooms and bathrooms, and dummy functions where no latch operation is required. Entry functions are used where locking is needed.
Some hardware requires handing, while other styles are universal. Door handing is determined by standing on the side where the hinges are visible and noting whether the door swings left or right. If you are unsure, we can help confirm the correct handing before ordering.
