The Handsworth Flush Mounted Shelf Bracket is a concealed-fixing bracket that supports marble and wooden wall shelves, machined from solid brass in Birmingham, England. Specified through Banbury Lane for shelving and display joinery where the fixing stays out of sight.
Machined from solid brass, hand sateened to a brushed satin ground, then plated in copper and drawn through an antiquing solution before barrelling to bring up the aged tone. A living finish: the surface continues to deepen and darken with handling and time.
A living finish. Left unlacquered, it will patinate and darken with use. Clean with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasives and chemical polishes, which cut the developing patina.
